The COMOTIX® reporting system operates truly wirelessly via modern 4G/5G mobile services (integrated eSIM card), with additional fallback to 2G/GSM.
The system deliberately does n't use Wi-Fi connections because they are often more complicated to set up, and in the event of a power outage, the Wi-Fi usually also fails. Therefore, with Wi-Fi connections, you might not be alerted in the event of a power outage.
The integrated SIM card is pre-configured and, unlike your mobile phone, offers multi-network functionality for optimal reliability in all locations. It works with virtually all network providers across Europe (in Germany, for example, with Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, and E-Plus).
Your advantage: You don't have to worry about a SIM card or signing your own contracts. The detector is ready to use right out of the box.
Long battery life, no 230V connection required
A powerful, rechargeable Li-ion battery is always included. A COMOTIX® detector runs for well over a year on a single charge. The battery is charged via USB-C (charging cable included). Charging time: only 3 hours.
